Protection of citizens and their information from unintended harms apply to quality improvement and evaluation projects. ARECCI provides Second Opinion Reviews for Alberta based projects that have been identified as above minimal risk by the Screening Tool. For a Second Opinion Review, please complete and submit the following to ARECCI@albertainnovates.ca:
- ARECCI Ethics Screening Tool (online tool),
- ARECCI Ethics Guideline Tool (PDF),
- Request for a Second Opinion Review (PDF) and,
- Supporting project documents (e.g., project charter, evaluation plan, consent forms, questionnaires, surveys, information sheet, data extraction sheet etc.).
The supporting project documents should give the Second Opinion Reviewer an in-depth understanding of your project.
